Welcome to the Official course website for Type 3: HTML5 & CSS3. This is a both a typography and web design course rolled into one. We will be covering advanced topics in typography, and general design theory. You will also be assigned historical readings related to typography and design theory, you will be expected to carefully analyze these and present your feedback to the class in small groups.
We will also be covering introductory topics in Web Design, you will learn foundational techniques in HTML & CSS. We will be utilizing readings and exercise from the website typographicwebdesign.com. Towards the end of the semester you will also design / create a portfolio website with HTML and CSS. This will showcase your work and the projects you will be creating in this class.
